As an Instagram user, you should use your Instagram biography to share more information about you or your business, describe what you will be posting about and how to get in touch with you.
It's very easy to edit your Instagram bio, and below you can find the detailed steps for both the Mobile App and the Desktop website instagram.com.
Edit your Bio on the Instagram app
To edit your Instagram biography while using the official Instagram mobile app, both on Android and iOS, please follow these simple steps:
Step 1 - Go to your Instagram Profile
Head over to your Instagram profile by opening the Instagram app and tapping on the "Me" icon in the right-bottom corner of the TikTok App, as shown below:
Step 2 - Edit your Instagram Profile
Once you land on your Instagram profile page, tap on the Edit Profile button, as shown below:
Step 3 - Access the Bio Edit page
Now that you're in the Profile Edit page, scroll down a bit until you see the Bio section and tap on it to edit it. It will look something like this:

You're almost finished! Use your phone keyboard to type your new Instagram Biography, then tap on the Tick icon in the top-right corner to save it.
You can use mentions (by adding an @ before the Instagram username) and hashtags (by adding a # before the Instagram hashtag).

You should craft an Instagram bio that provides all the info that your followers need about you and your business. Since there's not much space, make sure you provide a very direct message, bold statements and something that in general captures the attention of your audience.
Use Emojis to be more colorful, Hashtags to show very quickly what your account is about and Mention accounts related to yours. For example, if you have a business account, you might want to mention your personal account and vice-versa.
Also, if receiving contacts and collaborations is important to you, make sure you specify how people can get in touch with you. It might be an email, phone number or Instant Messaging account.
